This my gallery, I will display my art work from my DMEA class.
For this project, I did a parody of a jurassic park scene and replaced the dinosaur from the background with a animated monster.

I used a famous painting from Vincent Van Gogh and made it transparent to paint over on top. I used the pain tool and the eraser tool. It was a simple project to complete and it was fun.

Mixed Beast: The Inferrytopsie
For this assignment, I had to create my own magical creature by using four different parts of different animals. I used the body of a horse for a mammal, the wings from a bird, the eye from an a reptile (a frog), and the tail from an amphibian (a lizard). Combining all those parts into making a creature was a fun, learning experience. I used multiple tools and layers to make sure everything was fitted in perfectly.
I used the magic wand tool and the selection tool to select the areas that was needed for me to move or edit. I selected the horse's body from the image it was downloaded from and moved it to the new document. I, then, had to remove its tail to replace it with the tail of the lizard. After that, I used the clone stamp tool to help mix the two subjects together to make it look more realistic, and I smudge both as well. I used the free transform tool to move and edit the tail and the wings. I duplicated the wings and adjusted them to the body to make it look like it actually had wings.
For the next part, I had used the elpitical tool marquee tool to cut out the eye from the frog and replacing it with the eye of the horse. I used the dodge tool to ligthen up some parts that need some lighting where would be nesscary. I, too, used the burn tool to darken up areas, and I also made a shadow with the soft brush tool. Finally, I moved my mystical creature to the background I wanted and I was finished.
The reason why I used these certain parts of animals was because I thought it wouldn't be too complicated or as a hard job on combing them. However, I did believe that these animals together did bring out a good creature.

However, each level has a locked door, so in order to open it, you have to collect the key. You also need to be careful from the enemies in the level. They shoot arrows and they could kill you. |
My Phenakistoscope
My phenakistoscope is a series of images that appear to be moving by the human eye. As you can see, there is a sun, a moon, and a star presented. When the template moves fast, it looks like the sun is lowering and the moon and star are coming up. I used photoshop to draw the objects and move them around to create different images.
